History

McNeill and Partners was established in the early 1960's, first consulting to the automotive industry, later expanding into real estate, information technology, and finance. Over more than 40 years, the partners have built a successful group of enterprises, engaged in property investment, management consulting, asset and capital management. The group has operations in Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong, with affiliate offices in Switzerland and China.

In the mid-1980's, the group successfully extended its Australian operations into IT & HR consulting, winning major consulting and supply assignments from the Australian Government, leading technology companies, and major banks.

In the late 1990’s the first McNeill office opened in Asia, advising on industrial, technology, and infrastructure projects. Completed advisory assignments include oil refining, publishing, logistics, and real estate, as well as energy and infrastructure developments.

In the current century, McNeill expanded into the management of capital, helping establish the first Chinese municipal equity fund, which was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

McNeill's joint venture with China Development Institute, a leading government consulting group, provides access to around 200 professionals engaged in M&A activities in China.

To facilitate the growing number of foreign investors seeking access to China's booming economy, McNeill has assisted direct and indirect investors through the establishment of several new Private Equity funds targeting property and productive industries.
